Avant.Dev is responsible for promoting and selling the artist's artworks through artsy.net. This includes the creation of an online profile for the artist and their artworks, as well as the management of all sales transactions. Avant.Dev will also provide the artist with regular updates on their sales and answer any questions or concerns they may have about the selling process.
The collector is responsible for any shipping fees or taxes associated with shipping the artwork from the artist's studio to the provided delivery address. This includes the last mile of the shipment and the installation of the artworks. All payments and transfers resulting from the management of selling artworks through Artsy with the support of Stripe will be conducted in USD. The collector is responsible for paying all shipping logistics, taxes, fees, and any other expenses associated with the delivery that were previously agreed upon with Avant.Dev through the message system in Artsy.net. The artist is responsible for physically conserving and hosting the artwork with immediate availability for sale through artsy.net, without it being available for sale on any other digital platform, gallery or commerce associated with the artist. In addition, the artist commits to providing Avant.Dev with all necessary information and files related to the artwork, including necessary metadata for online sales through artsy.net. The artist is also responsible for ensuring the authenticity and uniqueness of the artwork, and for providing detailed documentation and provenance information to support the valuation and authenticity of the artwork.
The terms and conditions of the Artist Representation Agreement will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Avant.Dev operates on digital platforms related to the described activities.
